replica of a rare (one-of-a-kind in this configuration?) 1950s Spenke & Metzl / Dresdner Apparatebau brass shell concert snare drum,
custom made for the Berliner Philharmoniker (Germany)

specs:
- 40x78cm (approx. 15.75x30.70")  1-piece brass shell (0.7mm)
- standard Dresdner type bearing edges (round-over with 5mm brass rod inlay)
- 12 Dresdner type tube lugs 
- Dresdner type T-handle tension rods & claw hooks
- straight brass hoops
- mounting brackets with big wing nuts (mounted to the lugs)
- natural calf batter head (Irish KALFO prime choice for bass drum / translucent / tucked on brass flesh hoop)
- hand engraved name of the orchestra
- custom made concert bass drum stand

shell finish: polished brass / clear coated
hardware finish: nickel plated
